What's My Method? Why?

Today's post is about what type of hair extension application you'll be getting when you book with me. I have been trained in almost every type of extension method out there. Over the last 5 years, I have exclusively trained using sewn in weft methods. That means that the hair you will be getting comes in sheets that are sewn around beads applied to little sections of your hair. The exact "method" that I use now, while based on my original training with Invisible Bead Extensions, will vary slightly depending on my client's needs. IBE extensions have evolved and changed over the years as I have as an extension specialist and therefore all of us who have had IBE training have slightly different preferences and methods when it comes to small things like bead size, section size, section depth, and weft placement. When it comes to choosing an extension stylist, the method is less important than how your stylist pays attention to your needs and adjusts things as needed. Training in other sewn in methods, (such as Mixed Methodologies, by my original IBE mentor Rachel Nixon), has made me the best stylist that I can; one who thinks outside the box and can make hair extensions work for almost anybody! And if not... there's a wig for that!
